Mr. Fahl joined Splash as a Junior Developer in 2017. Before moving to NY, he held a postdoctoral researcher position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. From 2012 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Muhammed received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Prior to his graduate studies, he received his B.S. degree in Software Development from the University of Tokyo, Japan.

With 2020 behind us and 2020v2...I mean 2021 in full swing what better time to greet some old friends, make some new ones and generally hang out with a whole bunch of Tableau folk (Tabloids if you will).
Our aim for 2021 is to make things more exciting and innovative while we have to remain virtual and so to start the year we'll be making use of a new platform (Remo), giving away a prize and welcoming all ideas of how we can grow our South African Tableau community through 2021 and beyond.

Although qualified as a mechanical engineer, Mark has worked as a consultant in the data space for more than ten years. Slipstream have been Tableau Partners since 2006 and working with Tableau is very much part of his daily life.
