About this event

Join us for our next Food Bank Tableau User Group session as we welcome Dennis Kao, a 2024–25 Tableau Visionary, Tableau Public Ambassador, and award-winning data visualization designer known for his stunning and impactful map work.

In Mapping the Possibilities, Dennis will share his workflow for using GIS to prepare and manage geographical data and shapefiles so Tableau can read them with ease.

Then, he’ll walk us through his map design process inside Tableau—showing why he believes it’s one of the best tools for building both beautiful and impactful maps. Whether you’re new to spatial data or looking to level up your map design skills, this is a session you won’t want to miss. And be sure to stick around to the very end for our Tableau Swag give-a-way!
