When an analytic request comes your way, what's your process for gathering requirements, understanding the audience, and designing a dashboard? Do you have one? This is easily one of the most important activities in the analytic lifecycle that's the difference between efficient development and spinning your wheels.
Join us for an interactive mock requirement gathering workshop with your fellow TUG members. Here's how it's going to work:
- Attendees will be grouped into small groups with KCTUG committee member
- KCTUG committee members will be your stakeholder requesting a dashboard
- Each small group will work together to interview the stakeholder to gather dashboard requirements (hand outs, templates will be provided)
- Small groups will collaborate and create a wireframe of a dashboard(s) for the stakeholder to use to answer their analytic questions
- After the groups have time to go through the activity, each group will present and talk through their process.
Attendees of this meetup should leave with ideas and best practices to implement in their teams and orgs.
