In this session, Kyle Massey will guide you through the essentials of getting started with Tableau and introduce you to DataDev, You’ll learn the basics of Tableau, including setting up and navigating it effectively, how to use DataDev to eliminate repetitive tasks through automation tools, how to automate data processes like preparation and dashboard updates, and how scripting and third-party extensions can boost your efficiency.


Session 2: Keeping It Simple – Designing Delightful Dashboards That Aren’t a Pain to Maintain - Brittany Rosenau

In this session, Brittany Rosenau will teach you how to create clean, intuitive, and user-friendly dashboards, avoid common design pitfalls that lead to clutter and maintenance headaches, balance functionality with simplicity to keep the experience engaging and insightful, and design for long-term usability to ensure your dashboards remain effective and easy to manage over time.


Session 3: Lagos TUG Vizathon Finale

The event will feature the finale for the Lagos TUG Vizathon where the top 3 individual viz designers will present their works, showcasing their skills and creativity. Their designs will be judged by experts Adam Mico and Dennis Kao, who will evaluate the entries and award prizes to the best submissions, making for an exciting and highly anticipated conclusion to the event.
