This edition, we’re exploring Tableau in Government, with several talks and examples showing how data and dashboards help public organizations make smarter decisions, increase transparency, and deliver better outcomes for everyone. While the focus is on government, the insights are relevant for anyone working with data.

• Merel Haverkamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will present how Tableau plays a key role in the work of the ministry’s Datalab, where data products and dashboards are developed and used across departments and embassies worldwide, helping to make data-driven decisions a daily practice within the organization.

• “There’s garbage on the street!” or “Drugs are being used under the bridge!” - every day, citizens report alerts like these to their municipalities.
  Freelance consultant Alberto Herrera shows how Tableau Prep, Desktop, and Server were combined to turn thousands of such alerts into actionable insights. The result: Hotspots, an automated dashboard that helps process owners see what’s happening, where, and who should act. Guaranteed inspiration!

• We’ll also highlight the latest Tableau features and share tips and tricks you can use right away.
  After a successful debut at the last NLTUG, the Tableau Doctor is back - a community session for questions, hands-on help, and quick dashboard checks, with the whole group chiming in.

Everyone’s welcome - not just those working in government.

We’re switching things up this time with a morning program, so you can start your day with good data, great people, and a nice lunch to wrap it up. There will also be plenty of time to network, meet fellow Tableau users, and exchange ideas.
