You do not want to miss this guys: we have taken some time off this year and the beat of the AI drum has relentlessly continued. Our final session for the year will bring you some unique perspectives in these transitional and uncertain times.
First up: Join data-expert Andy Cotgreave (ex-Tableau, Chart Chat-er, and co-author of The Big Book of Dashboards as well as the brand new Dashboards that Deliver) to discover the six LEVERS that analysts can push or pull to enhance data visualisation design in pursuit of your goals. From emotion to rapidity, see which design principles are most appropriate for different data types, different data goals, and different audiences—helping you expertly communicate data-driven insights.
Level of Detail - should your chart be granular or sparse?
Emotion - should your visualisation be dry or loud?
Vagueness - should your visualisation be precise or ambiguous?
Exploratory - what's the communication objective of your visualisation?
Rapidity - how quick should visualisations be understandable?
Second up: Cooper Wenhua (Senior BI Developer from Aia Inc in Chengdu China) will dazzle us with the techniques he has spent huge amounts of time developing in Claude AI to create a way to migrate dashboards from one Business Intelligence platform to another. We are talking taking Tableau dashboards and, with relative ease, turning them into Power BI dashboards (in a day?? a week?? Cooper will tell us! But can you imagine....) OR Power BI dashboards into Snowflake Streamlit applications.
The possibilities are endless when a robot is doing all the tedious mechanical hard work behind the scenes...of course the proof is in the pudding, is it accurate post-migration? And that's what Cooper is prepared to demonstrate for us!
So thank you for your patience over this summer lull, but we are back on December 4 in a big way! Please join.
