About this event

Join the Raleigh-Durham Tableau User Group for our Q2 2026 in-person event at Deutsche Bank in Cary, NC.

This event will include community introductions, our Have-a-Job / Need-a-Job segment, a Tableau Conference recap, and a featured analytics governance session with bioMérieux and Wiiisdom.

We’ll start with a recap of key Tableau Conference takeaways, including updates, themes, and discussion points relevant to Tableau users, analysts, developers, and analytics leaders.

The main session will then shift to analytics governance in practice. Laurent Lardin from bioMérieux will share how bioMérieux uses Tableau in a real business environment, including how Tableau supports operational and analytical workflows, how data moves from business processes into dashboards, and how governance challenges show up in practical Tableau work.

From there, Wiiisdom will build on the bioMérieux story by showing how analytics governance can be supported through purpose-built tools for Tableau. Wiiisdom’s platform focuses on automating Tableau dashboard testing and certification, supporting analytics governance workflows, and helping organizations improve trust in BI content through capabilities such as BI testing, lifecycle management, continuous certification, monitoring, and auditability.

This session is designed for early- to mid-career Tableau users, analysts, developers, managers, and anyone interested in making dashboards more reliable, governed, and trustworthy.

The event is upstairs on the 3rd floor in the Multi-Purpose Room. Please check in at the front desk and pick up your nametag.
