Data+Community: Carlsbad Village Cleanup

Join the San Diego Tableau community for another Data+Community event.

This time we're joining the Carlsbad Village Association and its partners Pure Project, Handel's Ice Cream, and Baba Coffee for the Carlsbad Village Cleanup. We'll spend the morning helping clean up one of our favorite local spots. Afterward, anyone who wants can stick around for refreshments nearby.

If you've been to one of our Data+Community events before, you know it's a great way to catch up with friends, meet new people, and spend a couple of hours doing something good together.

Date & Time

Saturday, August 15

9:15 AM – Meet outside Pure Project Carlsbad
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Community Cleanup
11:30 AM – Optional hangout for refreshments

The cleanup officially runs from 9:30 to 11:30, but you're welcome to join for as much of it as you're able.

Registration

Please RSVP here on Bevy so we know who's planning to join the San Diego TUG group.

What to Bring

Cleanup supplies will be available, but you're welcome to bring:
Reusable gloves
Trash grabber (if you have one)
Comfortable walking shoes
Hat and sunscreen
Water bottle

Meet Up

We'll meet outside Pure Project a few minutes before the cleanup begins, then head out together with the volunteer group.

After the Cleanup

Anyone who wants to stick around afterward is welcome to join us for refreshments nearby. No agenda. Just a chance to catch up with people from the community.

About Data+Community

Most of our events revolve around Tableau. Every now and then, it's nice to do something a little different.

Data+Community is a chance to get together outside of our usual meetings, meet other members of the San Diego Tableau community, and give back to the local community at the same time.
