Lewis Powell | A Decade of Transformation: Chicago’s Data Journey with Tableau
Lewis Powell has been at Chicago’s City Hall for over a decade. As the leader of the Data Analytics Division, he and his team in the Office of Budget and Management are using data to transform City operations and build an organizational culture of data driven policies.
Angela Chin | Building Condition Data Confidence: Improving Air Force Military Facility Data through Visualization
Angela Chin is a young professional born in Taiwan and raised in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in Management Science and a master’s degree in Data Analytics from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Angela has been with Booz Allen Hamilton since finishing her graduate program in 2020 where she has been immersed in the world of Air Force data. Specifically, she has done extensive work with data pertaining to the sustainment, restoration and modernization of military facilities. Angela is passionate about translating complex data sets into user-oriented visuals that empower users to understand the nature and nuances of their data. Outside of data, Angela loves hiking, traveling, and cooking.
