In this session, Logix Federal Credit Union's Manager of Business Intelligence, Nicole Lopez, discusses how her team has leveraged The Knowlton Group's VeriCU Data Platform and Tableau to drive ROI-driven outcomes. Nicole Lopez is the Manager of Business Intelligence at Logix Federal Credit Union. She has held various roles in banking, and after managing a project to assess the data maturity at Logix, she became passionate about using analytics to advance the company’s strategic objectives. She and her team, in partnership with The Knowlton Group, have successfully taken Logix from using ad-hoc reporting to leveraging centralized analytics and machine learning to generate value.
Brewster Knowlton is the Founder and CEO at The Knowlton Group. After getting his start in the industry with State Employees’ Federal Credit Union in Albany, NY, he realized that credit unions had immense potential to better use their data for the benefit of their membership. With this principle in mind, he founded The Knowlton Group to provide credit unions with the tools and strategies they need to take action with their data. This led to the creation of The Knowlton Group’s VeriCU Data Platform - an industry-leading analytics platform that combines data integration and advanced analytics into one cost-effective solution.
Charlotte Taft is the Senior Director of Business Intelligence at Callahan & Associates, providing data-driven insights on Callahan’s websites and software products. She owns customer analytics and is currently leveraging Tableau to integrate Callahan’s diverse credit union industry data sets. Charlotte as an BA in Anthropology and is expected to graduate with a Master's in Business Analytics at UVA Darden in August 2021.
Prior to joining Callahan, she worked as an account strategist at Google, specializing in small business ads policy and malware. Before Google, she was an associate with the Moody’s Analytics Risk Management Consulting team, focused on building credit risk rating models and consulting on capital adequacy and regulatory issues. Charlotte is a retired NCAA DI rower and current eighth-grade rowing coach. She enjoys thrillers and exploring with her brother's dogs.
