Asraful Islam's Presentation

In Tableau Desktop, when using a measure as the color legend for geographic regions on a map, border lines at lower levels of the hierarchy may appear, which can be misleading or distracting. If these lines are removed, it becomes difficult to distinguish between regions with similar colors. Additionally, when hovering over the map, the border lines still appear.

To improve clarity, it is essential to have control over the borders—allowing users to keep or remove them, adjust their color, thickness, and other properties as needed. Furthermore, the ability to drill down from higher-level regions to lower levels of the hierarchy would enhance the map’s usability and provide a clearer view of the data at multiple levels.

In this presentation, we have demonstrated how to gain control over the border lines on a map, as well as the ability to drill down from higher to lower levels of geographic hierarchy, along with some interesting features available for maps.

I would like to invite you to attend the event and appreciate your feedback on my presentation.
