Mr. Fahl joined Splash as a Junior Developer in 2017. Before moving to NY, he held a postdoctoral researcher position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. From 2012 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Muhammed received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Prior to his graduate studies, he received his B.S. degree in Software Development from the University of Tokyo, Japan.

For our March TUG, we will focus on Tableau Prep Builder. We're long over due. What's new with Tableau Prep Builder? How might one get started? What are some capabilities you didn't know about?  


Danny Steinmetz, resident Prep wiz, will showcase the capabilities of Tableau Prep with a use case and data relevant to the PNW. He'll provide tips, tricks, and Prep knowledge that will be useful for both the beginner to the advanced user. There'll be something for everyone.

His focus is on using open source tools within large enterprises, whether as a consultant with IBM or at a startup like Dataiku. Whenever he can, he tries to speak about open source tools for data science and was proud to be one of the speakers for the first ever PyCaribbean conference in Santo Domingo.
