Carrie Gosnell is a Data Scientist with Kum & Go, who is focused on optimizing convenience store operations and targeting promotional offers within the &Rewards customer base. She has over 16 years of experience in consulting on business problems across a wide range of subject matters, including retail annuities, public & private investments, commercial property & casualty insurance and convenience retail. She has been visualizing data and making discoveries using Tableau for approximately 3 years. In addition to her analytical career, Carrie has helped to found the Des Moines European Heritage Association, served 2 years as programming co-chair for the Iowa Women Lead Change Central Iowa Conference and is helping lead the creation of a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program at Kum & Go. She holds a Master of Science in Data Science with a specialization in Analytics & Modeling at Northwestern University.
Carrie has a husband of 12 years, Ken, and two cats, Clyde and Wiggles. She also studied German in college and spent a semester in Salzburg, Austria. She apparently can also throw down a mean tap dance, and continues to study dance as a form of exercise and creative expression.
