Mr. Fahl joined Splash as a Junior Developer in 2017. Before moving to NY, he held a postdoctoral researcher position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. From 2012 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Muhammed received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Prior to his graduate studies, he received his B.S. degree in Software Development from the University of Tokyo, Japan.

Wendy Lea is a leading expert in digital innovation strategy and ecosystem development. As an experienced CEO, board director, and strategist, she advises government, public/private partnerships, and global enterprises on growth through innovation.

 

As CEO of Energize Colorado, Wendy mobilizes resources and relief for small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals recovering from the economic impact of COVID-19. She leads a team of inspired innovators from Colorado’s private, public, nonprofit, and academic communities to revive and invigorate Colorado’s economy.

 

Wendy was named a "Woman of Influence" in Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Recently she was honored with the Signal Excellence Award in 2018 by Procter & Gamble and the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business Distinguished Service Award.

 

 

Wendy is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Business Administration and has lived and worked around the world. She lives in Boulder, Colorado.

Heather Velasquez

Deputy Director of Operations and Cabinet Affairs

Heather Velasquez is the Deputy Director of Operations and Cabinet Affairs in the Colorado Governor’s Office. In this role she works with the chief operating officer of the State to oversee statewide performance management. Previously, Heather worked in various roles at the Colorado Department of Human Services.Before beginning work within state government in 2017, Heather worked in education and as a contracted financial accountant in the private sector. Heather is an alumna of the University of Colorado Boulder, Leeds School of Business where she majored in both finance and marketing.
