Interested in putting your data visualization and story-telling skills to good use? Come join us for the 2.5-hour #VizforSocialGood hackathon on 20 Sep! The project and dataset will be announced on the day. Visualizations developed could help raise awareness of a social cause or help non-profit organisations in their decision-making. • Bring along your laptop as it will be required for the activity. Strictly no walk-ins will be admitted.

Hui Xiang is the #VizforSocialGood local chapter leader for Singapore and runs a data science blog called Data Double Confirm. David is a data visualization and analytics enthusiast, having been in the field for more than 14 years. His passion for data visualization extends outside of work, as he runs his own website and YouTube channel dedicated to the field; Datasaurus-Rex.com. This pushes him to explore new data sets and techniques, and continually learn about what data visualization has to offer.
