Anna joined the Policy Cures Research team in 2015, bringing more than 12 years of experience in the international finance sector. Anna’s background is in commodity finance — structuring inventory financing facilities in Australia and Singapore — as well as in mergers and acquisitions, where she provided strategic advice to some of Australia’s leading companies. Her thorough understanding of commercial enterprises is underpinned by skills in financial modelling, data manipulation and analysis. In addition, Anna has a longstanding commitment to not-for-profits and international development; she was a director of a charity which provides food, services and education to those in need, spent nine months working with a community organisation in the Philippines as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development, and has volunteered with World Vision International. In 2018, Anna swam the English Channel, raising over $12,000 for malaria research.
Anna has a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney, and has completed short courses in infectious disease modelling and vaccine epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
