Join us to hear from Marion Vallier who started her career in the creative department of a large advertising agency, working on campaigns across multiple visual mediums. She now works in customer success in Data Analytics and BI. Marion used Tableau, taught Tableau and even worked for Tableau! She is passionate about the art of visualising data and how it can communicate big ideas.

In this session, Marion will take us through 5 things she's learned about Advertising and Information Design that Marion still keeps with her when she designs a dashboard (with only a couple of exceptions!)

We'll also hear from Julia FtW who has recently joined DataSpark as a consultant based in Brisbane, after having worked as a data analyst in both the insurance and professional services industries. Prior to starting her analytics career, Julia lived abroad in Vietnam and Japan, teaching English in private language schools and universities.

In this presentation, we’ll look at ways in which we can utilise third-party tools such as Figma to enhance the visual impact of Tableau dashboards.
