Data + TV: Game Show + Prizes!

We're excited about TV here at HETUG, and what's better than TV? Adding some data to your TV. Fortunately, Tableau's Data + TV challenge is here, and we're going to challenge you to a friendly game of Data + TV trivia, all supported by Data + TV dashboards on Tableau Public!

Oh, and there will be prizes! Accuracy and speed matter, and if you pay attention to our opening, it may pay off.

🍞 Financial Aid--The Other F-Word: Case Study in Reporting Financial Aid and Scholarship 📚

Alison Joseph and Carl Cortright (Western Carolina University)

Financial aid data is notoriously difficult to query and report, but Alison and Carl are going to help demystify both the data and approaches to reporting it! Outside of the standard financial aid and scholarship personnel who need this data, they'll also cover different audiences and offices who might benefit from financial aid reporting, and the views you might want to think about while developing such reporting.
