About this event
The November 2024 session of NTUG will be held in person in Nashville at the Nashville Tech Council office from 4:00 - 5:30pm and once again we've got a great lineup. Our first speaker, Jana Case, a healthcare project manager and engagement manager at Prominence Advisors, will share her journey into data analytics, focusing on how healthcare organizations can adopt data-driven decision-making. Then, our fearless TUG leader Jim Dehner will help you understand how to use a new and exciting Tableau feature, Viz Extensions. We'll have some time near the end for job seekers or position fillers, so please let us know if you have job openings or are job hunting. The Nashville TUG is a great place to connect and network!

She will highlight her experience supporting healthcare clients, by navigating successes and challenges they face, particularly in transitioning to cloud-based data solutions. The presentation will also explore how data and analytics teams have transformed outdated practices to more modern approaches, covering strategies and methods for effective implementations. Additionally, this session will aim to demonstrate how some healthcare organizations are using Tableau Cloud and Tableau Pulse, by showcasing real-world examples of these tools in action.

Jim will show us one of Tableau's newest features, Viz Extensions, and explain how we can use it in our dashboards with success.
