Summer is over, fall is here. When the evenings get longer, the NLTUG does reappear!
Join us in Utrecht for an evening of good conversations with your fellow Tableau enhousiasts and great talks from our speakers. This time we look at how to enable self-service at an organisational level at PVH. And if you're more interested to the technical details in Tableau Desktop, we've got a big introduction to the new Multi-Fact Relationships launched just before the summer. Are these two connected? That will be a good question to ponder over the drinks and snacks we'll share afterwards.
The location at BCN in Utrecht is accesible by public transport with a 10 minute ride on bus 28 from Utrecht Central station. There is also free parking available in garages P1, P2 and P3 (clearly marked for visitors of BCN).
Kevin is excited to invite you to this upcoming session. During the presentation, he’ll be discussing our approach to integrating Self Service with Tableau, showcasing real-world examples of how it has empowered our teams to make data-driven decisions independently. From streamlining data access to fostering a culture of self-sufficiency, He’ll cover the practical benefits and challenges they have encountered along the way.
Additionally, He's excited to introduce Guilherme Silva, who will join him on stage to share his valuable insights on our Self Service program. He’ll offer a unique perspective on its implementation and impact, providing a well-rounded view of their experiences and best practices.
Multi-Fact Relations
With the 2024.2 release, Tableau introduced Multi-Fact Relationship modelling. At first glance, they seem really useful to enable a lot of flexible data source designs. But how does it work in practice? And does it deliver on all the promises? Jur will share his experiences and some tips on how to best leverage this new type of data model in Tableau.
New Tableau features 2024
We finish the evening with a short overview and some demo's of other new features that Tableau released in 2024
