Danny Bradley is the Lead Business Intelligence Analyst at Integral UK (part of the JLL family) and has worked in data for over 12 years.
He regularly seeks new ways to visualise data to answer business questions effectively and passes that knowledge on to his team.
He is a British data awards winner, Tableau Featured Author and has spoken at numerous data events in the last few years.
During this talk we’ll have a brief history of the dumbbell chart and why a version of them was around even before numbers existed (yes really!). I’ll also be showing you some great examples of dumbbell charts in the wild and will be giving a live demo on exactly how to build them and take them to the next level.
Laura Sandford: This will pay the bills until I work out what I want to do with my life
Laura is a self-proclaimed data nerd who loves nothing more than to learn. She found a love for data during her PhD in Chemistry and at the same time realised that a life in academia wasn't for her. Laura began a career in analytics just to pay the bills but hasn't looked back. Through a combination of self-teaching and community support Laura has become an avid Tableau user and co-leads the London Tableau User Group.
In this talk, Laura will share how her approach to databases has evolved over that last decade and will share how her team leverage data platforms to really drive performance and insights.
Chris Westlake: Charting the way to success : How my day(ta) dream became a reality
Chris has had a love for data from a very early age, and discovering Tableau in 2018 gave him a channel to express that love. Since then Chris has used Tableau to manoeuvre himself into a job doing what he loves and now works as a Senior BI Analyst at JLL, using data to uncover insights and help people see and understand their data every day. Chris has been awarded 3 Viz of the Days on Tableau Public, came second in the EMEA region for the 2023 IronViz feeder competition, and currently co-leads the Scotland TUG.
Chris's presentation will focus on his own personal Journey with Tableau.
