The Memphis Educators Tableau User Group (METUG) is on a mission to redefine Memphis' workforce by achieving 100% data literacy in every classroom across the district by 2027. Aligned with Tableau's global goal to equip 10 million people with data skills, METUG is committed to empowering every educator and student in Memphis Shelby County with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in a data-driven AI-first world. Through monthly meetups, during the academic year, METUG offers hands-on Tableau workshops and expert presentations.

METUG is not only focused on building technical skills but also fostering a community of collaboration and innovation. With access to free Tableau software, eLearning resources, and real-world project-based applications, educators are equipped to transform classrooms and better prepare students for the future workforce. By participating in METUG, educators play a pivotal role in advancing the mission to achieve 100% data literacy by 2027, ensuring that every teacher, every student, and every classroom in Memphis Shelby County is empowered with essential data and AI skills.
